Club Constitution
Code of Conduct
As a club we expect both swimmers and their parents to observe a code of conduct. This is to protect our volunteer coaches, our club reputation and for the safety and enjoyment of all members of the club.

Fees and Payments
Club fees
There is a one off club joining fee and then club membership fees that are paid quarterly by standing order.

Swim England fees
Swim England Annual fees – these are paid via the club in order to register you as one of our members. This entitles a swimmer to compete at galas and to be insured by Swim England whilst taking part in Alnwick Dolphins swimming activities and at galas.

Willowburn fees
It is a requirement of Alnwick Dolphins membership that all swimmers in Barracudas Squad and above sign up for a monthly ‘Dolphins’ membership with Active Northumberland. This costs £19.20 per month currently. They will be given a membership card by Willowburn which they must swipe at the machine in the foyer or at the desk each time they arrive for a Dolphins session.
This does not apply to Flying Fish Squad members and ‘taster session’ swimmers who should pay £2 per session at the desk on arrival.
Land Training
Land training is provided by the club for all swimmers in the Performance and Competition Squads and to swimmers aged 13+ in the teaching squads. It takes place on Weds evening from 5-6pm.
The coach will provide swimmers with sets of activities which they should carry out between sessions. The focus of these sets is on flexibility, stretching and core strength and they are most effective if repeated regularly.
